FC26 Free Agents
A complete guide to FC26 Free Agents: best bargains, hidden gems, and full stats to strengthen your Career Mode squad.
FC 26 Best Free Agents
Free agents in FC 26 are a useful way to boost your squad in Career Mode without spending transfer budget. While there aren’t as many available compared to past editions—since most real-life players were signed before launch—there are still plenty of solid options.
The best free agents can slot straight into a starting XI for Road to Glory saves, or simply add much-needed depth for midweek fixtures and injury cover. Just keep in mind that if you disable the first transfer window, you won’t be able to sign free agents until January.
Standout Free Agents
-
Memphis Depay (ST, 81 OVR) – The biggest name on the list, Depay is a proven goalscorer who can still deliver at the top level, though at 31 he won’t improve further.
-
Hakim Ziyech (RM, 78 OVR) – A creative winger still capable of producing magic, but age is catching up with him at 32.
-
Victor Lindelöf (CB, 75 OVR) – A Premier League-experienced defender who can add leadership and depth to your backline.
-
Matt Turner (GK, 74 OVR) – A dependable goalkeeper who can serve as either a starter for smaller clubs or a solid backup.
-
Cesar Montes (CB, 75 OVR) – Strong in the air and still only 28, giving a couple of good years as a central defender.
Young Free Agents with Potential
Unlike most older free agents, there are a handful of younger options worth picking up and developing:
-
Lewis Koumas (RM, 19, 69 OVR → 79-85 POT) – A wide player with impressive growth potential, ideal for Road to Glory saves.
-
Ross McCausland (RM, 22, 67 OVR → 76-82 POT) – Solid physical profile and dribbling ability, good long-term winger option.
-
Tomas Galvez (LB, 20, 60 OVR → 73-79 POT) – Low-rated now but with enough upside to become a quality full-back in a few seasons.
-
Jassem Gaber (CB, 23, 63 OVR → 73-77 POT) – Cheap, physical defender who can grow into a reliable rotation piece.
